American School for the Deaf

Since our founding in 1817, the American School for the Deaf has remained dedicated to the success of all deaf and hard of hearing children. For over two centuries, ASD has been revered as a national and world leader in the field of Deaf Education, with our programs often serving as catalysts for new program development across the country. At ASD, we celebrate opportunities and potential, while helping our students overcome challenges and break down barriers—preparing them not only for diplomas, but for their whole lives.
